✏️ What your child will do

Your child looks at the big letter 'क' and the picture (क से कमल), colours the picture, and then traces four rows of dotted 'क' on Hindi four-line rules, finishing each letter with the shirorekha (top line).

🎯 What your child will learn

  • Writing the letter क in the correct stroke order
  • Recognising the sound of क through the word कमल
  • Drawing the shirorekha (शिरोरेखा) neatly
  • Keeping letters the same size on notebook lines

👣 How to do it

  1. Say 'क' and 'कमल' aloud together.
  2. Trace the big 'क' at the top with a finger.
  3. Trace each dotted 'क' with a pencil – the body of the letter first, the top line last.
  4. Complete all four rows.
  5. Colour the picture at the top.

💡 Tips for parents

  • Think of more words starting with 'क' together.
  • Remind your child to draw the top line after the letter shape.
  • Keep it to 10–15 minutes – stop while your child is still enjoying it.
