✏️ What your child will do

Your child starts by tracing standing lines next to the pictures at the top, following the arrows, and then joins every green dot to its red dot on the notebook rows. Every stroke goes from top to bottom.

🎯 What your child will learn

  • Drawing standing lines in the correct direction
  • Keeping strokes between the lines of a Hindi notebook
  • Pencil grip, control and hand–eye coordination
  • Getting ready to write Hindi letters (अक्षर)

👣 How to do it

  1. Sit at a table with the sheet straight in front of your child.
  2. Hold the pencil with the thumb and first two fingers.
  3. Put the pencil on the green dot (start) of the first row.
  4. Draw the line from top to bottom and stop exactly at the red dot.
  5. Finish the row, then move to the next one.
  6. Look back at the page and circle the neatest line together.

💡 Tips for parents

  • Show the green (start) and red (stop) dots before your child begins.
  • Let your child say the direction aloud – 'ऊपर से नीचे', 'बाएँ से दाएँ'.
  • Two or three neat rows are better than a full page done in a hurry.
  • Keep it to 10–15 minutes – stop while your child is still enjoying it.
