✏️ What your child will do

Your child looks at the vowel ओ and its matra sign ( ो ), traces the matra following the arrow, writes it on two rows of Hindi four-line rules, and then colours the picture of ओखली.

🎯 What your child will learn

  • Recognising the ओ matra sign ( ो )
  • Correct stroke direction for the matra
  • Linking the sound 'ओ' with the word ओखली
  • Neat writing on Hindi notebook lines

👣 How to do it

  1. Say 'ओ' and 'ओखली' aloud together.
  2. Trace the big matra ( ो ) at the top with a finger, following the arrow.
  3. Put the pencil on the start dot of the first row and trace each dotted matra.
  4. Finish both rows and the small practice boxes.
  5. Colour the picture of ओखली.

💡 Tips for parents

  • After this sheet, show words with this matra: मोर, तोता, घोड़ा.
  • Check the matra touches the shirorekha (top line) in the right place.
  • Praise the effort and neatness, not just the right answers.
